Returning and Getting Started

I’ve been working towards some other career goals outside of blogging, so I’m getting a later start than I wanted to on this site.

This leads me to the best news: I got a NEW BIKE. A third gen. Yamaha R6, which I will go more into later. Of course, this means that I no longer have the yellow Ninja 500R, but it was a solid trade up to the R6.

My plan for the blog now is to chronicle my transition from the Ninja 500r to the R6. What is different, how I have to adjust, and do I recommend either of those bikes. This will be a good segway into my more interesting and detailed concepts for this work.

Thank you for reading, as always, and I look forward to providing more detailed information and getting properly organized with this blog.

Introduction To This Blog

Hello and welcome to my website, The Cyclemancer.

‘Cyclemancy’ is the ability to maintain your bike. To be safe. To ride smart. To have the knowledge. And to be an aspiring master of all trades relating to the motorcycling sport.

My goal here is to create an informative motorcycling website with a wealth of information about the sport, the psychology, the risks, simple maintenance, the gear, and everything else. With that in mind, we will start simple. The next post will give a more well rounded introduction about who I am and why I am doing this.

You, my friend, can assist me in creating this moto almanac by letting me know what it is you’d like to learn about.

Stay tuned and thank you for reading.
